Meet the Team at Bloomwell Family Chiropractic

As a kid, Dr. Scott was active in various sports. After a concussion, he was left with headaches. His mother took him to a chiropractor, which offered incredible relief. Since Dr. Scott had always wanted to work in the health field, his experience with chiropractic led him in that direction. As he learned more about the philosophy of chiropractic—that the body can heal itself when interferences in the nervous system are eliminated—it sealed the deal.

Dr. Scott chose Life University in Marietta, GA, and after graduating in 2002, he continued his education. He is certified in the Webster Technique (a technique specific to pregnant women). He also has a certificate of proficiency in pediatric and family chiropractic, as well as many, many hours of Blair Upper Cervical Specific training.

Bringing Joy

After twenty years in practice, Dr. Scott still loves coming to work every day. He loves people and brings hope and joy to the lives of Bloomwell Family Chiropractic families struggling with health issues. He educates people that our bodies are innately intelligent and wired to heal and adapt easily to daily stress—and there is nothing better than when practice members have that “aha moment” for themselves due to our care.

Away From the Office

When he’s not at work, Dr. Scott is passionate about spending time with his family outdoors—hiking, going to the mountains, going to the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, you name it!

Carly Elliott is Dr. Scott’s wife. She suffered with health problems for a couple of decades, and when she got well, she wanted to help others on their healing journey. Nutrition fascinates her and how it can help support the body in healing. She has completed her certificate to be a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner from the Nutritional Therapy Association.

Carly is also our practice manager and has designed our new office with her background in interior design.

In Her Spare Time

In addition to the outdoorsy life she leads with Dr. Scott and their children, Carly enjoys reading, learning and cooking. She also loves discovering new restaurants.

Care Advocate

A Greenville native, April has been enamored with how our area has grown and evolved! She attended college in Lakeland, FL and earned a degree in Psychology at Southeastern University. In her previous career, she and her husband worked together for twenty years taking care of at-risk youth within a cottage home environment. As a mom of three, her children were raised in this unique dynamic and resided with over 200 siblings over the years!

Last September, she stepped away from her comfort zone and area of expertise to embark on a new journey with pediatric chiropractic. April’s desire to help kids continues to be part of her life journey. “I’ve learned so much in these months and I’ve met so many wonderful families!
